My ride along in a supercharged BRZ

Oct. 3rd is a holiday in Germany celebrating the reunification.  As luck would have it, the folks at RMS-Engineering in Kössen, Austria invited me over to experience a new prototype of a water-cooled/supercharged BRZ that they are building in cooperation with a company in Australia.  It was a beautiful day for a test drive, and the cows were coming down from their alpine pastures in their holiday best (as you’ll see.)

In its final stage this car will have between 270 and 280 HP.  They have upgraded the brakes, but kept the original suspension.  It still has the great BRZ handling and balance, but you can really feel the extra horse power.  For those of you who have been yearning for more power, here it is.

  1. Very nice. What’s the company in Australia? I’m taking delivery next week in Melbourne and would love to know if this can be installed.

  2. Thanks Adrian. Hit the link to RMS Engineering in Austria. On their website you can find a contact email, the best thing would be to send them a note and ask for the name of the company in Australia. Good luck!
